该节目是之前两个捷克音乐录音项目的延续，“树叶的低语”（COBRA0069 –在这里查看）和“Fenetre sur le jardin”（COBRA0070 –在这里查看）。这一次的主题是圣诞节（“Vánoce”），同样有几首世界首演的美妙音乐被不公正地遗忘了。
Josef Suk的《平安夜》和《A Child's Christmas Dream》带来截然不同的圣诞氛围。这些作品在心理上很微妙，有很多声音和复杂的和声，但总是旋律优美、真诚、慷慨。
Jaroslav Kvapil 的循环“Vánoce”是这张专辑的第一次世界首演。按照路德维克·昆德拉的说法，“这不仅是克瓦皮尔最个人化的作品，也是充满抒情美感的热情生活体验的表达”。在这里，Kvapil 自发的音乐性、他无穷无尽的旋律创造力和天生的音乐直觉得以绽放。他表达情感的直接和强烈让人想起他的老师雅纳切克的作曲风格。
