里姆斯基-科萨科夫为他的歌剧《看不见的城市基捷日》深入挖掘了俄罗斯的传说和民间故事。在这个管弦组曲中跟随“俄罗斯亚特兰蒂斯”的神秘、神奇的故事，通过作曲家闪闪发光的管弦乐调色板讲述。
